Jennifer M. Miller

Jennifer Miller is a dedicated advocate for her clients, working on divorces, property disputes, parenting challenges, cohabitations and more. She has experience representing families and individuals in appearances at the Court of King’s Bench and the Court of Justice in Alberta as well as in a variety of dispute resolution options.

After Jennifer received her undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of Calgary, she spent several years working and volunteering abroad in various countries around the world such as Mexico, Guatemala, and South Korea (among others) where she taught English, worked on sustainable environmental projects, and helped organize community outreach programs.

Jennifer returned to post-secondary education with the desire to help others and completed her law degree in England at the University of Sussex where she participated in and won many competitions in mooting, negotiations, and advocacy on the national level. Jennifer returned to Calgary in 2018 where she gained experience in Family Law, Constitutional Law, Civil Litigation, Real Estate Law, and Wills and Estate matters before joining Boyes Tiefenbach Bannister Family Law Counsel.

Jennifer aims to provide a collaborative approach to Family Law issues and to find practical and effective solutions for her clients. Jennifer is passionate about empowering others to work through challenges and helping her clients reach their goals. Jennifer is dedicated to continuous learning and regularly attends workshops, seminars and courses to help her stay current with the changes in the law.
